While founder Harpreet went to school for nursing and has experienced the hustle and bustle of a hectic life, she also hails from an entrepreneurial family that has always encouraged her to pursue multiple professions, even from a young age. By combining the confidence she has from such well water roots and the diverse background she grew up in, Harpreet has unapologetically ventured into the leisure space, creating a product like none other.
Her diverse cultural experiences give Harpreet a greater knowledge about the perfect kind of fabric to use when crafting her first Lounge byH loungewear piece. Since then, she has continued to feed her desire to create truly loungeable and versatile clothing.

We’ve intentionally leveled up our loungewear so as not to make simple sweatpants, which may be associated with laziness. Instead, we understand and embody the difference between comfort and laziness and make sure it’s evident in our product. Our Story
As a seasoned nurse and parent, Harpreet saw and experienced first hand the dire consequences of the burn out and hustle and bustle culture.
After a season of difficulty and self discovery, Harpereet began to follow her childhood dreams, two of which were designing and creating. As life continued to throw obstacles her way, Harpreet remained stubborn in working on her design and creativity. As she began to craft her own clothing, she was simultaneously searching for a line of luxury loungewear she could buy.
Harpreet wondered why she couldn’t find a sustainable, ethically sourced, versatile piece of loungewear, so she decided to make her own.
Through a few product test runs and multiple trips to India to source her ethical material, Harpreet soon discovered that she’d stumbled upon something great. Her laid back personality works in tandem with her stubborn drive to create some of the most luxurious loungewear made from the finest fabrics, modal.
